How We Didn't Meet

We Met In 2015

We didn't meet in the 1980's, but our paths crossed hundreds of times.  We didn't meet at Depeche Mode on the muddy lawn at Riverbend, We didn't meet at the Jockey Club or at the Rocky Horror Picture Show on the Skywalk (Kelly was in the back on the right).  We danced near each other but didn't meet at the Beat Club on Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday night.  We may have ended up with the other's broom as we left the spontaneous gathering on Fountain Square after the Reds Sweep of the 1990 World Series. Or we may have bumped into each other at Zantigo (Deanna ordered the cheese chilito) after we caught a band at the Plaza, Moose's, Top Cats, Sudsy Malone's, or Uncle Woody's.

Instead, we met at the Gruff in Cov on 10/22/2015.  Despite those missed meetings, it's been a decade of music, breweries, dogs, advocacy and love...
